As SEG winds down after another successful year, staff got into the festive spirit by making a splash in Bay of Plenty waters.
It was a joyous day out as the SEG team and their families spent Sunday at Tay Street Beach, catching the waves and enjoying the sunshine.
First up was a surfing lesson led by Trav and the team at South Pacific Surf followed by a delicious brunch at Fox’s Hawker House and Garden in downtown the Mount.
For several staff this was their first time on a surfboard and the occasion led to many face-plants, sore muscles and water up the nose.
SEG Managing Director Richard Saunders said a fun family day out was a great way to celebrate the end of the year.
“We are a great team and we all enjoy spending time together outside of the office. We had a lovely celebration today and it was great to spend time together with our families.”
Some of the projects SEG worked on this year include the Northern Quarter development on The Strand, Pak'n Save Cameron Rd, the new Fertility Associates fitout at Bayfair and the new Manawa Energy/NZ Blood building at 93 Cameron Road.
SEG staff and their families.
Richard thanked his staff for all the hard work put in this year, Clients of SEG for all their support, and he looked forward to another successful year in 2024.
